Gerrie Sobel -Author
Gerrie Sobel is a Certified Trainer of Food & Beverage Sales and she has an extensive background in the Hospitality Business for over 40 years.
From 1990-1998, she served as both Innkeeper and Food and Beverage Sales Manager for The Historic Partridge Inn in Augusta, Georgia. During that time period, Gerrie was an active member of Women In Business. Gerrie also served as a Senior Advisor to The Junior League and is also a founding member of Women in Philanthropy.
When Gerrie and her husband, Joel, moved to Florida, she developed an Employee Orientation Program entitled Excellence in Service, for the Seaside Community Dev. Corp. where her husband was CEO. Gerrie was inspired to become a Children's book author when her grandson, Jacob, was born. Jacob currently lives in Georgia and has become one of the state's best soccer players. Recently retired from the hospitality industry, Gerrie and her husband, Joel, just celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
Dottie Torres - Illustrator
Dottie Torres graduated from the Ringling School of Art and Design with a BFA in Illustration. When she is not doodling and painting, she enjoys sewing and making costumes. She currently lives in New Port Richey, Florida with her wonderful husband and three pet cacti (because she is allergic to dogs!)
